This line of products is serene and has a calming presence. The color scheme is minimal and monochromatic. It reflects light, which brightens dark corners; it is pleasing to the eyes; and it takes up less space visually so it doesn't add a lot of matter to your home. While it is minimal in color, it has an added measure of boho and natural vibes with the organic flower hand sculpted and added to the wheel-thrown vessel.
Presence | the sculpted flower sits above a glossy globe, alert and present, reminding its viewer to be still
Serenity | the wider base and the skinnier neck was designed for a handful of lavender, inviting all your senses into an experience of serenity
Abundance | it holds everything it needs; the flower is abundant, detailed, and has plenty to give
Unity | This collection of flowers lives happily side by side, with an attached drain plate for happy plants. All the elements of water, mud and flowers work together in unity.
Live with Intention | The oversized flower is meant to represent bringing your fullest self forward in life, and living with intention.
Live in Harmony | the perfect balance in how these flowers interact together reminds us that in nature, everything works together for its purpose
Cheer Me Up | playful, energetic, and cheery
Grace | a reminder of the little gifts of lovingkindness in our lives

This line of products has me dreaming of desert. The colors are earthy and southwestern. The hand carved lines are grounding and are inspired by dreamcatchers. A variety of techniques are used in creating these earthen vessels. Some are thrown with recycled speckled clay, and then given a lot of detailed glazing, using line and negative space to create a peaceful company to a room. Others are wheel thrown using a speckled buff clay, and are painted with a porcelain slip (porcelain so thin it turns to more of a paint than a solid clay), and then hand-carved with a calm and grounding design.

golden hour
golden hour
That hour at dusk and dawn when everything is in its right place.
Where everything is whole and beautiful, made even better by its flaws.
These pieces are inspired by the Leonard Coehn quote that “the crack is where the light gets in”. We all have our wounds, our brokenness and places in ourselves we think are imperfect. But “the wound is the place where the light enters you” - RUMI.
When I was making my lotuses last winter, a piece would turn out gorgeous, and then I would notice a small crack from drying, and would be sad that I felt it had to be thrown away, that it was ‘damaged goods’ not worth keeping. But it reminded me of how in life you will have that trial or pain or suffering that makes you feel like the whole story is ‘ruined now’, like that’s part of yourself is not worth keeping. But in actuality these cracks are where the light gets in, that transforms you from the inside out and makes you more radiant, whole and pure than your life without it. That’s what God does. This inspired me to paint the natural cracks (and carefully hand-craft cracks) that I would then paint with a 24k gold luster. Reminding us of the gifts of imperfection.
